District Council elections on December 28
District Council election schedule has been announced. The vote will be taken on December 8. The last date for filing nominations on December 1. Scrutiny of the nomination can be withdrawn on December 3 and 4 until 11 December.
Sunday's Election Commission Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakib Uddin Ahmed announced.
According to the Ministry of Local Government, apart from the rest of the three districts of Chittagong Hill Tracts District Council 61 011 December 15, the leaders of the Awami League and its associate organizations, the government appointed administrators. The various levels of government, local government departments, people said, the district council will be selected within six months. But the day was the district council election.
Under current law, a chairman, 15 members and five seats reserved for women members of the District Council will be formed. 0 members will select the chairman of the City Corporation (If), upazila and union representatives elected.
Meanwhile, the current administrators in the district council elections to district councils will have to resign. Last month, the District Council by adding new provisions (Amendment) Ordinance 2016 law allows the cabinet
